| 05/16/2007 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Continued | I made contact with the businesses in the shopping complex area requesting they make an effort to close the lids on the dumpsters ... part of the problem is that the placement of some of the dumpsters prevents the closing of the lids ( too close to a telephone pole, too close to the building, & a damaged lid hinge ) ... another contributing factor, is some dumpsters lack a lid - which I requested they call the provider to repair or replace. I will contact the property management - PICOR, Chuck Holden ... 546-2718 - to recommend they contact the garbage service provider - Saguaro - to request they repair & move the dumpsters so that the lids may be closed. I will also suggest that management assist with the lid effort & to possibly increase the daily maintenance of the property - including the removal of chairs & couches brought onto the complex by homeless. I will schedule a follow up in two or three weeks to ascertain if the corrective measures have been done. |
