08/07/2007 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved VISITED SITE, UPON ARRIVAL FOUND A PLYWOOD FACADE WAS BEEN PLACED IN FRONT OF THE STRUCTURE WHILE CONSTRUCTION WAS BEING COMPLETED. THE ROOM WHERE DAMAGE OCCURED ACTUALLY HAD THE TWO EXTERIOR BRICK WALLS REMOVED AND THEN REPLACED. THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS APPEARS TO STILL BE ONGOING AT THIS TIME

CHECKED PERMITS PLUS FOUND PERMITS WERE SECURED ON 6/14/07 AND I PREDICT THIS TO BE APPROXIMATELY A 3 MONTH PROJECT. WILL FOLLOW UP 9/28/07 ALLOWING CONTRACTOR TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT.
06/21/2007 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved MET WITH OWNER CHARLES HANEY, WHO MENTIONED BETTER WAY SERVICES WHERE HIRED AND STARTED REPAIRS QUICKLY, SECURED BUILDING AND HACKED UP FRONT OVERHANG TO RELIEVE PRESSURE ON BEARING WALL AND CLEANED UP. PRODUCED A PROPOSAL QUICKLY BUT NOW HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM FOR SOME TIME.

CALLED STEVE QUINTAN OF BETTER WAY SERVICES, STEVE MENTIONED THAT THEY JUST GOT THEIR PREMIT FROM COT, HIS OFFICE HAD A MEETING YESTERDAY ON HOW TO PROCEED AND SCHEDULE SUB CONTRACTORS, WILL BE STARTING THE PROJECT NEXT WEEK AND WILL CONTACT ME ONCE PROJECT IS COMPLETED, WILL FOLLOW UP IN ABOUT 45 DAYS.
