| 09/07/2010 | ELECTRIC - CONSTRUCTION POWER | Partial Approval | Re: MLK Tower Electric Power Service Modification Inspection 1 N. 5th Ave. The following is a description of what I witnessed. On 9/3/2010, from approximately 2:40 pm to 3:00 pm the new electric power service to the address above was inspected. The new TEP transformer secondary terminations, the terminations at the buildings busbar, the new service feeder conductors and conduits were reviewed. Each conduit pull was balanced for phasing and the rotation & voltages were checked before the building was re-energized. At approximately 3:00 pm the TEP Maproom was called and given approval for energization of 1 N. 5th Ave, TEP work order 192887, with ECO clearance. At 3:30 pm the TEP power was on and by 3:40 pm the subject buildings main switchgear was re-energized from the new service. After this the individual circuits of the building were re-energized as well. No incidents or disruptions of service were observed. V. John Lundgren, PE City of Tucson General Services Dept.
