THE CONTRACTOR HAS ASKED FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE CURB THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN POURED BY HIS SUB CONTRACTOR. THIS CURB APPEARS TO BE OF THE RIGHT HEIGHT AND APPEARS TO BE IN THE PROPER LOCATION, BUT THIS DETERMINATION WILL NEED TO BE VERIFIED BY EITHER THE SURVEYOR WHO LAID OUT THE ALLIGNMENT OR FROM THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THIS SITE. THE CONTRACTOR HAS ASKED ABOUT THE SIDEWALK ALONG THE ADJACENT STREETS IF IT NEEDED TO BE REMOVED SINCE IT WAS IN GOOD SHAPE. i ADVISED HIM THAT HE WOULD NEED TO POSE THIS QUESTION TO THE ZONING AND ENGINEERING REVIEWERS WHO REVIEWED THE PLANS FOR COMPLIANCE. THEY HAVE SHOWN ON THE APPROVED GRADING PLANS THAT THE SIDEWALK IS TO BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH 5 FOOT NEW SIDEWALKS.
