05/05/2006 INITIAL CODE VIOLATION Approved COMM. CALLED TFD ON SITE WITH CAR THRU BUILDING. ARRIVED TO SITE AND A TRUCK HIT THE BUILDING AND HIT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF FRONT AREA OF STORE. DAMAGE WAS APPROX. 12 L.F. AND WAS A WAINSCOT CMU BLOCK APPROX. 40" HIGH WITH GLASS ON TOP OF IT GOING TO CEILING HEIGHT. GLASS WAS BROKEN THAT REMAINED TO HAVE SECURED. MET WITH OWNER OF STORE AND WAS UNABLE TO SECURE PROPERTY AND WAS GIVEN PERMISSION TO ORDER BATHCREST TO SITE FOR SECURING. TRUCK WAS TOWED BY GARY'S TOWING. HAD TO WAIT FOR BATHCREST DUE TO HAD AT OTHER SITE. BILL FROM BATHCREST HAD TO GO TO YARD DUE TO OUT OF MATERIAL. BATHCREST SECURED SITE, AND OWNER RESET ALARM OF STORE AND LEFT SITE. WILL CHECK IN 14 DAYS.
