Engine Capt. requested Fire Prevention to investigate. Fire code requires a property to provide one access point with a width of 20ft.and a heigth of 15ft. The front gate does not meet these requierments but two other access point are provided for the property that do meet the requierments.They are located to the west of the complex and to the SW. They are provided with FD pad locks. We can request, suggest or recommend that they extend the opening for the front gate for a better, quicker and safer access into the property but because of the two other entry points, they are not requiered to. |
