12/29/2006 | INSP - REINSPECTION | Violation | On 12-12-0, a fire prevention inspection was conducted at Munchkins Daycare, in Tucson, Arizona. On 12-28-06, a re-inspection was conducted and the following International Fire Code 2003 Violation(s) was noted: Currently there is a shed, in which the combustible side is within 10 feet an exit. This shed shall be inspected. Arrangements have been made to inspect the contents of this shed. The contents at that time shall be judged to determine the reliability of the exit. IFC 1027.2 1027.2 Reliability. Required exit accesses, exits or exit discharges shall be continuously maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency. Security devices affecting means of egress shall be subject to approval of the fire code official The location of the shed is within 10 feet of the rear exit. The contents and structural integrity shall be inspected. This shed could become and impediment to this exit. This letter is to inform you that abatement of these Tucson Fire Code violations must be completed by 1-9-06. An inspection shall occur on 1-9-06. An inspection shall occur on 1-9-06. If such building or premises is unoccupied, the fire code official shall first make a reasonable effort to locate the owner or other person having charge or control of the building or premises and request entry. If entry is refused, the fire code official has recourse to every remedy provided by law to secure entry. |
