| 12/13/2006 | INSP - FULL | Violation | 1). Currently a double sided deadbolt type lock is on front door. This lock is in violation of IFC 1008.1.8, which states: 1008.1.8 Door operations. Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. Approved locking device shall be installed. 2). Currently there is a shed, in which the combustible side is within 10 feet an exit. This shed shall be inspected. Arrangements have been made to inspect the contents of this shed. The contents at that time shall be judged to determine the reliability of the exit. IFC 1027.2 1027.2 Reliability. Required exit accesses, exits or exit discharges shall be continuously maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency. Security devices affecting means of egress shall be subject to approval of the fire code official |
