TFC 1003.6 Means of egress continuity. The path of egress travel along a means of egress shall not be interrupted by any building element other than a means of egress component as specified in
this chapter. Obstructions shall not be placed in the required width of a means of egress except projections permitted by this chapter. The required capacity of a means of egress system shall not be diminished along the path of egress travel.
*** Keep entire "double door" assembly unlocked when building is occupied, and remove machine from in front of door immediately. See note above.

TFC 1006.3 Illumination emergency power. In the event of power supply failure, an emergency electrical system shall automatically illuminate the area.
04/12/2006 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS Violation Concerning front doors:
TFC 1008.1.8.3 A readily visible durable sign [shall be] posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED. The sign shall be in letters 1 inch (25 mm) high on a contrasting background.
