Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed.

03/09/2006 VIOL - FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS Violation Holes, vents- workshop and pool heating room:
TFC 703.1 Maintenance. The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction (including walls, fire stops, shaft enclosures, partitions and floors) shall be maintained. Such elements shall be properly repaired, restored or replaced when damaged, altered, breached or penetrated. Openings made therein for the passage of pipes, electrical conduit, wires, ducts, air transfer openings, and holes made for any reason shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke and fire.
*** Repair holes in ceiling and walls in workshop, and repair entire damaged ceiling area, including structural members, in an approved manner, in the pool heater room. Also furnish proof of fire resistive quality of pool heater vent thru ceiling, or replace in an approved manner.
