Clearance between ignition sources, such as light fixtures, heaters and flame-producing devices, and combustible materials shall be maintained in an approved manner. 304.2 Storage. Storage of combustibles shall not produce conditions that will create a nuisance or a hazard to the public health, safety or welfare. [note: found gasoline can outside unit 1, under stairwell approx. 2 weeks ago. 1 week later found gas can and minibike chained under stairwell outside unit 1. Contacted manager both times. On 3/1/06 while doing inspection saw gas can and minibike inside unit 1. Tenant removed both immediately.] *** Advise all tenants it is unlawful to store gasoline, or combustion vehicles and engines, in apartments or under stairwells, and these must be stored, or kept, in a safe and approved manner.
