12/13/2006 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved #7; MADE A F/U INSPECTION ON THE EMergency notice to vacate. The inspection was required in order to move the tenant back into the apartment from the motel where the City of Tucson temporarily placed her. Becky was present because she had to pay the cab driver to transport the tenant (Peggy). What was ordered in the notice was to dry and sanitize the carpet, repair the water leak and patch the wall. The carpet was dried and sanitized and the wall was partially patched. I accepted the progress and authorized the tenant to move back in. What is outstanding on this violation is to provide D.N.R. w/ a copy of the carpet persons invioce stating the drying and sanitizing of the carpet, complete the minimal patching and put the range back in place. This was told to Daniel and my fax number was given.
12/04/2006 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved RECEIVED EMERGENCY CALL-OUTduring normal work hours. The water to the apt. complex was shut off earlier for non payment. Eventually the water was paid and when it was turned on a water line busted (so says the complainant) at apt. #7 completely soaking the whole unit, at which time the maintanance man went to shut of the water valve to the unit, but the sub-main broke and the unit could not be isolated, thus the whole complex was shut off.

The lady at #7 had to be vacated since her apt. was flooded out and the potential of electric shock. Daniel the maintanance man said that their is no other units in which the tenant could moved into. I called the managers' number (2) and there was no anwer and my call was never returned. I let Molie (manager) knopw by mesasage that I have no alternative, but to have the tenant housed at a local motel with the possibility of the management/owner paying the bill. I called Becky Ybarra to set up the arrangements and also to set up transportation.

As for the rest of the complex, Daniel assured me that he could have the water valve repaired at unit #7 so that the rest of the complex could be turned on.

I told Daniel that in order for the tenant to move back in, the leak would need to be repaired and the carpet would need to be sanitized and dried out by a professional carpet company. I will would a receipt.
