LAUNDRY ROOM CHECKED FOR COMPLETION OF REPAIRS TO CEILING, CEILING HAS BEEN COMPLETED. ALL VIOLATIONS ABATED. | |

FOUND FOUR AREAS OF CHAIN LINK FENCING ON EAST SIDE OF COMPLEX THAT HAVE BEEN DAMAGED & HAVE HAD TEMPORARY REPAIR DONE. APPEARS TEMPORARY REPAIR HAVE NOT HELD AND HAS BEEN BREACHED. BREACHED AND REPAIRED SECTION ARE AS SMALL AS 8" x 18 UP TO 2 FEET BY 5 FEET. NORTHSIDE IS WOODEN SLATS WITH IRON FRAME, 1 SECTION APPROXIATELY 4 FEET BY 6 FOOT HAS BEEN REMOVED & ALLOW ACCESS IN & OUT OF PROPERTY BY DUMPSTER. WESTSIDE SECTION IS WOODEN SLATS W/ WOODEN FRAME, FOUND TWO SECTION, 1 APPROX 6' x 40 FEET HAS DETACHED FROM WOODEN FRAME WORK & IS LISTING & LEANING. THIS SECTION BEING HELD UP BY VEGETATION. ANOTHER SECTION APPROX. 6 x 10 FEET IS LISTING & LEANING AT SOUTH WEST CORNER OF PROPERTY. MADE CONTACT WITH RALPH, COMPLEX MAINTAINANCE SUPERVISOR INFORMED HIM OF COMPLAINT REGARDING FENCING AND LAUNDRY ROOM. HE STATED REPAIRS TO FENCING ARE A PROBLEM DUE TO COMPLEX TENANT CONTINUES TO UNDO REPAIRED SECTIONS TO ALLOW EASY ACCESS FROM COMPLEX TO STORE, SCHOOL AND NEARBY BUSINESS. DNR INSPECTOR SUGGESTED INSTALLATION OF SELF CLOSING GATE AT CORNERS OF PROPERTY. RALPH STATED DSD WILL NOT ALLOW INSTALLATION OF GATES. INFORMED DUE TO SEVERAL ATTEMPTS WERE VISABLE A FENCING CONDUCTOR SHOULD DO REPAIRS. RALPH STATED HE WILL REPAIR BREACHED SECTION WITH PROPER MATERIALS. DNR INSPECTOR ASKED ABOUT LAUNDRY ROOM CEILING HE STATED REPAIRS ARE UNDERWAY. ROOF LEAKS HAVE BEEN SEALED & DAMAGE DRYWALL REMOVED & HAS BEEN REPLACED. REQUESTED INSPECTION OF REPAIRS. WALKED OVER TO LAUNDRYROOM, REPAIRS ARE APPROX. 60% DONE 1 SECTION APPROX 4 FOOT BY 6 FOOT REMAIN TO BE INSTALLED THEN TAPING & TEXTURE CAN BE APPLIED. CEILING SHOULD BE COMLETED BY MONDAY FOR REOPENING OF LAUNDRY ROOM. COMPLEX HAS TWO LAUNDRY ROOMS. REST OF COMPLEX IN GOOD SHAPE. NO OTHER ISSUES ARE APPARENT. INFORMED SUPERVISOR NOV WILL BE ISSUED FOR DETERIOATED CHAIN LINK FENCING & WOOD FENCING. ALSO LAUNDRY ROOM, WILL ALLOW 30 DAYS TO COMPLETE REPAIRS. PICTURES WERE TAKEN AND NOV WAS HAND DELIVERED TO MAIN OFFICE AT COMPLEX. DO 30 DAY F/U FROM TODAYS DATE. |
