RAY ALLOWED INSPECTION OF UNIT EVEN THOUGH CITY HAS NO JURISDICTION OVER VACANT AND SECURED STRUCTURES. 2 SECTIONS FOUND W/ WATER DAMAGE ONE RELATED TO COOLER LEAKING AND OTHER DUE TO DETERIORATED ROOFING. OWNER IN PROCESS OF COLLECTING BIDS AND HAS MADE CONTACT W/ 5 DIFFERENT ROOFING CONTRACTORS SEVERAL REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED BY ONSITE MAINTENANCE PERSONAL DNR REQUEST COPIES OF BIDS AND SCHEDULED DATE FOR COMPLETION OF ALL ROOFING REPAIRS. RAY STATED DUE TO RECENT STORMS OCCUPIED UNITS WERE BEING ADDRESSED FIRST. DNR INSPECTOR ASKED ABOUT CAUSE OF LEAKS WERE DUE TO CLOGGED RAIN SCUPPER AND OR DRAINS OWNER STATED LARGE AMOUNTS OF PIGEON DROPPINGS HAVE DETERIORATED SOME SECTION OF ROOFS. INSTRUCTED OWNER TO REMOVE ALL PIGEON DROPPINGS. WILL REVIEW FINDING W/ SUPERVISOR BEFORE ISSUING NOV DUE TO NO OTHER COMLAINTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED FOR ROOF LEAKS/ PICTURES WERE TAKEN DO F/U ON OFFICE IN 2 WEEKS |
