| 07/14/2006 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Continued | On July 7th, 2006 I made contact with Laura Higgins, site manager for Briarwood Apartments, and she informed me that they were aware of the cooling problem and it was being addressed. She explained that the complex has a 4 unit cooing system and two of the units were non-functional. Essentially operating at 50% effectiveness. She stated that there was air moving in all apartments. She stated that the corporate offices had agreed to waive all lease agreements for those whom wanted to move immediately. She further stated that they would offer fans and alternatitive methods of cooling to the tenants until the system was repaired. She said that Oracle-Controls, a commercial HVAC contractor, was working on the repair and estimated it to take approximately two weeks to complete. There were multiple issues and a comprehensive list of parts needed to be determined so that orders and shipping could be affected. Follow up on July 14th, 2006. |
