ARRIVED ONSITE MET WITH OWNER, INSPECTOR R DIAZ, NO ONE SHOWED UP FROM HOUSING ADVOCATE AS RELAYED BY WARD OFFICE. WENT OVER ISSUES REGARDING INITIAL COMPLAINT, OWNER WAS WORKING ON COOLER WHEN INSPECTOR ARRIVED ON SITE, OWNER STATED COOLER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, COOLER PANELS WERE OFF AND LARGE HOLE REUSTED OUT AT CAGE HOUSING, COOLER PADS BADLY RUSTED. ASKED TENANT ABOUT OTHER VIOLATION WITH BATHROOM FLOORING AND BOARDED WINDOWS. TENANT STATED PROBLEM WITH BATHROOM FLOORING AND NO EXTERIOR BOARDED WINDOW. DID POINT OUT LIVING ROOM WINDOW HAS BEEN INSTALLED WITH BOARDS ON INSIDE OF LIVING 4 PANEL WINDOW FOR PRIVACY

INFORMED TENANT COMPLAINT STATED THAT SHE AND ANOTHER PERSON WERE AT WARD OFFICE AND STATED CONDITION OF STRUCTURE WERE IN BAD SHAPE. TENANT STATED SHE DID NOT KNOW WHO THAT OTHER PERSON WAS NOR WAS SHE AT THE WARD OFFICE. DNR INSPECTOR ASKED IF TENANT WOULD ALLOW INSPECTION OF INTERIOR AND TENANT STATED NO AT THIS TIME. DNR INSPECTOR ASKED IF SHE HAD WORKING SMOKE DETECTORS, TENANT REPLIED YES. DNR INSPECTOR ASKED ABOUT FLOORING IN BATHROOM, TENANT STATED NO PROBLEMS. MIN HOUSING ISSUES WERE FOUND AND ARE AS FOLLOWS:

16-11 B2 COOLING COOLER WAS FOUND IN A DETERIORATED AND DELAPITATED STATE.
16-11 D COOLER CONDITION, COOLER NOT PROVIDING ADEQUATE COOLING DUE TO LARGE RUSTED OUT HOLE IN CAGE HOUSING - PANELS ARE BADLY RUSTED AND IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT.
16-12 A STRUCTURES EXTERIOR- EXTERIOR WOODEN FACSIA, WOODEN FENCING AND 2 STRUCTURE WALL ARE LACKING REQUIRED PAINT COVER PROTECTION, OVER 50% OF WOODEN FENCING FASCIA AND BLOCK WALL ARE PEELING AND CHIPPING OFF.
16-11 C ELECTRICAL SYSTEM EXTERIOR RECEPTACLE LACKING WEATHER PROTECTION EXISTING COVER PLATE HAS BROKEN WEATHER PROTECTION.
16-11 C ACCESSORY STRUCTURES. NORTH LANDING AND STAIRS ARE IN A DETERIORATED STATE AND HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY FIXED BY USE OF PLACING LOOSE BOARDS ON STEPS. LANDING ARE SAGGING UNDER PRESSURE WHEN STANDING ON TOP.

SOUTH LANDING ALSO SAGGING WHEN STANDING ON TOP, NOT STRUCTURALLY SOUND. ALSO LACKS PAINT COVER FOR WEATHER PROTECTION OF EXPOSED WOOD.

16-11 E METAL CARPORT AWNING IN A DILAPITATED STATE, CORRUGATED METAL HELD IN PLACE BY USE OF CINDER BLOCKS 2 BY 4 WOODEN BEAMS ARE CRACKED AND SPLITTING NOT STRUCTURALLY SOUND. NOV WAS HAND DELIVERED ON SITE, PICTUERES WERE TAKEN.

NOTE: AFTER OWNER LEFT, TENANT CAME OUT AND STATED SHE HAD BEEN AT WARD OFFICE WITH OTHER PERSON, BUT DID NOT WANT OWNER TO KNOW. INFORMED HER DUE TO INFORMATION PROVIDED BY HER EARLIER REGARDING HER INTERIOR CONDITION, WERE THEY TRUE OR FALSE. TENANT STATED FALSE, STRESSED TO TENANT WARD OFFICE IS INVOLVED AND INSPECTOR COULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ISSUES NOT ADDRESSED DUE TO FALSE INFORMATION. AGAIN TENANT STATED INTERIOR COMPLAINT WAS NOT TRUE AND WOULD TESTIFY AS SO. TENANT STATED ALL SHE WANTED WAS COOLER AND LANDING WITH STAIRS FIXED. PICTURES WERE TAKEN, SCHEDULE FW/UP 30 WORKING DAYS FROM TODAY'S DATE.
