E DUARTE MENTIONED HE WAS PRESENT AT THE VENUE AND ALL CLAIMS WERE VALID. NEXT VENUE TO BE TODAY 6/8/06 ONLY 500-600 PEOPLE ARE TO ATTEND, 1/2 THE AMOUNT PRESENT FOR 6/6/06 VENUE OF 1200 PEOPLE.

AL NICHOLS ENGINEERING SUBMITTED PRINTS A WEEK AGO BEGAN AND QUIT WORKING DUE TO NO PRINTS. E DUARTE MENTIONED HE WOULD TRY TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS.
MR GARZA MENTIONED THEY (THE CITY) DID NOT INTEND ON SHUTTING DOWN THE RIALTO, BUT WANTED TO MAKE SURE THE HEATING/COOLING WAS CORRECTLY ADDRESSED AND THAT TFD ISSUES WERE ALSO PROPERLY ADDRESSED.
MR BIGGERS MENTIONED THAT ACM OWNER STEVE RODGERS AND ENGINEER AL NICHOLS WERE WAITING AT THE RIALTO THEATER TO GO OVER A/C PLANS.
GROUP MEETING MOVED TO THE RIALTO THEATER. WE WERE MET BY STEVE RODGERS, AL NICHOLS, AND HYMAN KAPLAN. AL NICHOLS WENT OVER HEATING/COOLING PLAN, BASICALLY A 3 PHASE SYSTEM HAS BEEN SUBMITTED FOR NEW A/C SYSTEM THE 1ST PHASE ADDRESSING THE MAIN FLOOR AREA, HE FELT SUFFICIENT BUT IF THE SYSTEM WAS NOT ENOUGH, THE 2ND PHASE WOULD BE IMPLEMENTED TO INCLUDE THE BALCONY AREA, IF PHASE 1 & 2 STILL NOT ENOUGH, PHASE 3 TO INCLUDE THE STAGE WOULD BE INSTALLED LATER.
STEVE RODGERS MENTIONED THAT HE PRESENTLY HAS BEEN WORKING WITHOUT A PERMIT BUT STOPPED WORK, EXPLAINED IF A PERMIT WAS NOT ISSUED RIGHT AWAY, THE A/C WOULD NOT BE READY FOR THE NEXT MAJOR VENUE ON 6/21/06. MR BIGGERS IS IN THE PROCESS OF SATISFYING TFD. NO MENTION TO ME YET WHAT THE OUTCOME EXCEPT THAT TFD HAS REQUIRED THEIR PRESENCE AT THE NEXT VENUE WITH COST TO THE OWNER. WILL FOLLOW UP WITH DINO RAMIREZ.
STEVE RODGERS TOOK ME TO INSPECT THE ROOF UNITS (EXISTING). THERE WERE 3 LARGE COOLERS EXISTING ON THE ROOF. STEVE OPENED UP THE COOLER & EXPLAINED THAT UNITS WERE ACTUALLY WORKING AT 1/8 THEIR CAPACITY DUE TO LOOSE BELT ON COOLER; MOTOR WAS WORKING PROPERLY - LOOSE BELT FROM MOTOR TO SQUIRREL CAGE WAS SLIPPING & NOT ALLOWING CAGE TO TURN AT A FASTER CAPACITY ULTIMATELY NOT ALLOWING BLOWER TO BLOW MORE AIR OR THE CURRENT AMOUNT OF AIR. PUMPS WERE WORKING CORRECTLY. COOLER POSITIONED ON THE EAST SIDE OF ROOF WAS BLOWING MORE AIR THEN COOLER TO THE WEST. WAS NOT ABLE TO GET TO THIRD COOLER DUE TO LACK OF LADDER, BUT AIR WAS BEING PUSHED OUT TO THE BALCONY AREA & COULD BE FELT WHEN INSIDE THE BALCONY. STEVE RODGERS MENTIONED THAT A FULL CREW WOULD BE ONSITE TOMORROW 6/9/06 TO BEGIN THE COMPLETION OR REMAINDER OF THE WORK. NO NOV WAS ISSUED AT THIS TIME.
*INTERIOR OF THE STRUCTURE WAS FOUND TO BE QUITE WORN WITH THE 3 EXISTING COOLERS. 2 ADDITIONAL COOLERS WERE ADDED AT 6/6/06 VENUE & MAY BE USED TONIGHT 6/8/06. PICTURES WERE TAKEN.
