FIRE WANTED CLEARANCE ON OTHER UNITS TO SEE IF POWER COULD BE RESTORED. CHECKED UNITS AND FOUND BREAK AWAY BARS ON BEDROOM WINDOWS. HAD THREADED RODS. RODS WERE REMOVED AND OWNER HAS POSSESION OF RODS THAT WRE REMOVED. WENT INTO ATTIC SPACE TO CHECK WIRING TO OTHER UNITS. FOUND WHERE FIRE WALLS HAVE CUT IN AREAS WHERE YOU CAN ENTER ALL ATTIC SPACES. APPEARS SOME NEW WIRES ADDED AND THAT WHEN THE HOLES WERE CUT. BROUGHT TO OWNER ATTENTION. WIRING TO OTHER UNITS SEEM TO BE OK.

MET W/CAPTAIN ON SITE AND SAID OK TO TURN POWER BACK ON. DID UNIT 1102, 1104 AND MET TENANTS TO MAKE SURE ALL WERE WORKING. HAD OWNER INSTALL ACCESS PANELS BACK IN PLACE. TENANT IN 1102 HAD ISSURES THAT NEEDED REPAIRED NOT RELATED FIRE. ISSUES ARE BEING ADRESSED. IN 1104 FOUND A SPACE HEATER THAT TENANT IS USING. ASKED TENANT IF UNIT HEATER WORKED AND HE SAID YES. TENANT JUST LIKES USING SPACE HEATER. ADVISED NOT RECOMMENDED AND HE WILL START USING BASE BOARD HEATERS. ONCE UNIT 1102, 1104 WERE CLEARED AND TENANTS WERE BACK IN WENT TO CHECK 1106. UNIT 1106 HAD FRONT DOOR DAMAGED FROM FORCED ENTRY AND CEILING DAMAGE IN LIVING RM WHERE CHECKING FOR CROSS OVER OF FIRE. WHILE ON SITE ENTRY DOOR WAS BEING REPLACED. HOLE IN CEILING CAN BE REPAIRED AND TENANT SAID HE IS OK WITH HOLE TO MOVE BACK IN. CHKED ELECTRICAL AND WAS WAS OK TO TURN BACK ON. MET W/TENANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING OK. TENANT SAID ALL IS OK. MET WITH FIRE TO ADVISE THAT ELECTRICAL WAS BACK ON TO OTHER UNITS. ALL SMELLED LIKE SMOKE AND TOLD TENANTS TO CLEAN AND GET AIR FRESHENERS. GAVE NOTICE AND DAMAGE REPORT TO OWNER AND WAS WAITING FOR INSURANCE.

RED CROSS CAME AND MET W/TENANT FOR PLACEMENT. OWNER WILL HAVE PROPERTY SECURED BY 5PM TODAY. GAVE CARD WITH CELL PHONE # FOR HIM TO CALL. WENT OVER PAPER WORK TO OWNER WITH RICK SALDATE, SUPV.

UNIT 1108 TOTAL LOSS-BDRM FIRE POWER OFF. SECURITY BARS HAD THREADS SCREWED ON LOCKS AND REMOVED WHILE ON SITE. RED CROSS CALLED FOR PLACEMENT. TENANT WORKS FOR OWNER, ATE ALREADY.
