I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO GO TO DSD AND SECURE PERMITS BY MAKING DRAWING, SUBMIT, AND PAY THE PERMITS, AND THEN HAVE INSPECTION DONE ON ADDITIONS AND THEN HAVE FINALED. THEN CALL FOR US TO COME OUT TO DO AN INSPECTION ON UNIT SO WE COULD CLOSE CASE OUT.
01/06/2006 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved MET WITH INSPECTOR MARTIN ROMERO C-14. UPON ARRIVAL ON SITE FOUND A PARTY GOING ON AND THERE WHERE ABOUT TEN MALES ON THE PROPERTY, WHOM WERE DRINKING. WHILE MARTIN AND MYSELF WHERE TALKING, THE RENTER OF THE PROPERTY MET WITH US. WE DISCUSSED THE MATTER OF ELECTRIC NOT BEING ON IN UNIT. TENANT STATED THAT HE HAD ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR VIA EXTENSION CORD. WAS TOLD AT THAT TIME THAT HE COULD NOT DO THIS AND UNIT WOULD HAVE TO BE SHUT DOWN DUE TO NOT HAVING ELECTRIC TURNED ON. TENANT THEN STATED HE WAS REMODELING UNIT AND WOULD LIKE US TO COME IN AND SEE. WE FOLLOWED AND TOOK PICTURES, FOUND UNIT HAD BEEN REMODELED AND SOME OF THE ELECTRICAL WAS NOT COMPLETE. WENT OUTSIDE AND FOUND EXTENSION CORD SUPPLYING UNIT. EXPLAINED TO TENANT THAT THE EXTENSION CORD HAD TO BE DISCONNECTED AFTER NOV WAS ISSUED AND POSTED. ALSO WAS EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT HE HAD TO GO TO DSD TO AQUIRE PROPER PERMITS TO HAVE ELECTRICAL TURNED BACK ON. CALLED TPD AND ADVISED THAT HE NEEDED BACKUP TO PRESERVE THE PEACE DUE TO THE OVERABUNDANCE OF PEOPLE AND ALCOHOL INVOLVED. WAITED FOR TPD, TPD ARRIVED, OWNER IN THE MEANTIME SHOWED UP AND WAS EXPLAINED THAT IT IS ILLEGAL TO LIVE AT THE UNIT WITHOUT ELECTRIC. THE OWNER ASKED IF A GENERATOR COULD RUN THE UNIT. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT IT COULD NOT, AND THAT HE HAD TO AQUIRE A PERMIT FROM DSD AND HAVE IT INSPECTED AND FINALED THROUGH DSD AND WE NEEDED TO LOOK AT THE UNIT AFTER PERMIT WAS FINALED. TPD DID A FINAL ONCE OVER AND FOUND THAT THE UNIT WAS NOT LOCKED UP , WENT THROUGH THE UNIT AGAIN AND FOUND IT STILL HAD ELECTRIC. WENT OUTSIDE AND FOUND EXTENSION CORD DISCONNECTED. WENT TO NEIGHBOR TO THE EAST AND PULLED LIFE CORD, ELECTRIC WAS THEN SHUT OFF TO UNIT #4. OWNER WAS ALLOWED BACK IN TO MAKE SURE UNIT WAS LOCKED UP. LOOKED OVER EXTERIOR OF UNIT AND COULD NOT FIND HOW UNIT NUMBER FOUR WAS RECEIVING ELECTRIC. POSTED A NOTICE OF VIOLATION AND A DO NOT ENTER ON FRONT SOUTHEAST ENTRANCE DOOR. WILL HAVE TO DO FURTHER INSPECTION DUE TO PORCH ADDITION, HAS AN EXTERNAL URINAL, ADDED ROOF TO MOBILE UNIT. WILL CHECK WITH AERIAL PHOTOS AND DSD FOR PERMITS ISSUED. WILL FOLLOW UP IN FIVE DAYS. INSPECTOR RICK SALDATE SHOWED UP AT SITE AND DID AN ASSESSMENT, HE STATED THAT HE DID NOT KNOW HOW ELECTRIC WAS SUPPLIED AND THAT I NEEDED TO GO TO DSD FOR PERMITS ISSUED AND AERIAL PHOTOS.NOV IS TO FOLLOW,FOLLOW UP TO BE IN THIRTY DAYS AFTER RETURNED RECIEPT IS RETURNED AND RECIEVED.
