IT IS APPARENT THAT THE OPENNINGS WILL NOT REMOVE ALL OF THE WATER FROM THE AREA WHERE THE FLOODING IS CURRENTLY HAPPENING. IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT A DRAINAGE SWALE BE INSTALLED ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE NEW WALL FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE LOT OUT TO 2ND AVE. BONNIE HAS ADVISED ME THAT SHE DOES NOT WANT A DRAINAGE SWALE PLACED ON HER PROPERTY, SHE ONLY WANTS THE HOLES INSTALLED IN THE WALL AND GENERAL CLEAN-UP OF THE CONCRETE OVER POUR OF THE SOUTH WALL FOOTER. IF THERE IS ANY FLOODING AFTER THIS WORK IS COMPLETED SHE WILL BE DEALING THROUGH THE LEGAL CHANNELS FOR ALL RESOLUTIONS AT THAT TIME.
11/02/2007 ASSURANCE Correction Required BOB CONTACTED ME AND ADVISED ME THAT HE HAS RECEIVED THE APPROVAL FROM THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, PATRICIA GILBERT FOR THE WALL OPENNINGS IN THE SOUTHERN WALL. I WILL BE CONTACTING BONNIE LATER TO DISCUSS THE INSTALLATIONS OF THE WALL OPENINGS, AND THAT THESE OPENNINGS MAY NOT RESOLVE ALL DRAINAGE ISSUES ON THIS SITE.
10/25/2007 ASSURANCE Correction Required SITE NOT READY AT THIS TIME. DRAINAGE ISSUES NOTED WITH THE SOUTH WALL OF THIS PROPERTY, WALL PERMIT PENDING. MET WITH THE DEVELOPER TO DISCUSS THE NECESSITY OF WALL OPENNINGS TO ALLOW FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE EXISTING DRAINAGE WATERS FROM THE LOT DIRECTLY SOUTH OF THIS SITE. BOB WILL WORK ON GETTING APPROVAL FROM THE ENGINEERING AND ZONING DEPARTMENTS PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE DRAINAGE OPENNINGS IN THE WALL. THIS SITE WILL BE RECHECKED AT A LATER DATE.
