07/10/2008 GRADING - FINAL Partial Approval Contractor needs to:
1- Address PAAL widths. Less then 24'
2- Clean all wash ouit from site.
3- Provide letter from engineer for site cert. Per C.O.T. drainage manaul chapter XIV, section 14.2 (7).
4- Repair all broken curb.
5- Stabilize all areas disturbed by construction.
6- Install pilot hole for trash enclosure for open and closed position.
7- Remove all construction debris from site.
8- Install all bike parking.
9- Address scuppers installation. Approved drawings call out 6" type 1.
10- Address erosion in detention/retention basin.
06/30/2008 GRADING - FINAL Partial Approval 1) LOOKED OVER THE SITE AND FOUND THAT THE P.A.A.L.'S FOR THE SITE DID NOT MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED ON THE APPROVED PLANS. THESE AREAS SHOULD MEASURE 24 FEET OF CLEAR ROADWAY FROM THE BOTTOMS OF THE CURB, AND ALL ROADWAYS AROUND THE PERIMETERS ONLY MEASURE 23.7 FEET. THE ACCEPTANCE OF THIS SMALLER DISTANCE CANNOT BE DONE WITHOUT HAVING A VARIANCE IN PLACE FOR THE CHANGE FROM THE CURRENT STANDARD. PLEASE CONTACT HEATHER THRALL WITH THE ZONING DEPARTMENT AT 201 N. STONE TO RESOLVE THIS CONDITION PRIOR TO RESCHEDULING THIS SITE FOR ANOTHER INSPECTION. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS INSPECTION CONTACT DAVID ROBERTS AT 349-7643 AND I WILL ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THAT I CAN ABOUT THE ON-SITE ISSUES.
2) COMPLETE ALL OF THE ON-SITE WORK AS SHOWN ON THE APPROVED PLANS, AND REMOVE ALL EXCESS MATERIAL THAT HAS BEEN STOCK PILED ON THE ADJACENT PROPERTIES. IF THERE ARE AREAS OF DISTURBMENT THAT HAS BEEN CAUSED ON THE ADJACENT PROPERTIES DURING CONSTRUCTION THESE AREAS WILL NEED TO BE RE-VEGITATED AND APPROVED BY THE LANDSCAPING DEPARTMENT.
3) PROVIDE A CERTIFICATION LETTER FROM THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR ALL ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED ON THIS SITE, VERIFYING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED PER THE APPROVED PLANS.
4) REMOVE ALL S.W.P.P.P. MATERIAL FROM THE AREA AND PERFORM GENERAL CLEAN-UP OF THE SITE AS NEEDED TO REMOVE ALL CONSTRUCTION TRASH AND DEBRIS.
06/26/2008 GRADING - FINAL Partial Approval Met on site with Danny site super and owners rep. Contractor needs to close out open grading permit before C of O released.
05/30/2008 GRADING - FINAL Correction Required Spoke to Danny site super. Contractor stockpiling material along Wieding Rd. Contractor will need to stabilize all areas disturbed by construction.
04/16/2008 GRADING - FINAL Correction Required Spoke to Danny in regards to PAAL widths. Min. width is 24'. Second time we spoke to about PAAL widths.
04/01/2008 GRADING - FINAL Correction Required Contractor needs to maintain 24' PAAL width for drive lanes. Northeast side has PAAL small then 24'. I explianed to contractor if he does not maintain 24' the engineer will need to apply for DSMR.
08/14/2007 GRADING - FINAL Correction Required Contractor needs to address parking spaces, spaces are only 15.5' long. Per SD 3-05.2.3.B.3 Spaces smaller then 8.5' and 18' need to be identified as compact-size.
