09/25/2008 ENGINEERING PRE-CONSTRUCTION Continued Please see the Sequence of Major Construction Activity in the SWPPP Section 3.3. The north and east perimeters may be grubbed and excavated to clear the areas for BMP installation. The BMP's must be completely installed on the same day as the clearing of the area begins.
The most important BMP's at this site will be:
1. The stabilized construction entrance. Do you plan on using the existing curb opening on the east end of the site, or will you cut the curb and place the entrance on the west end as shown on the SWPPP? If you use the existing opening, you must update the SWPPP and provide 30' X 50' of 3"-6" fractured rock. You must also verify that the sight visibility triangles are clear to prevent un-safe conditions.
2. Drainage outlet BMP's at the northwest corner of the site. This BMP must be maintained at all times.
3. The enclosed earthen channel on the east and north perimeters to capture and convey off-site flow to the northwest drainage outfall.
4. The settling basins on the east perimeter.

Please inform your grading contractor that the sequence of major construction activity must occur as indicated in the SWPPP or a Stop Work Order will be issued.
Please call in the Pre-construction and Installation of SWPPP Control Inspection(s) for the day you will begin construction activity at this site. I look forward to working with you to maintain compliance at this site.
