Tenant was concerned about fire dept. access into his trailor court. Was inquiring about establishing a fire lane. After seeing the location first hand, I determined that a fire lane would be beneficial for both TFD access and and the tenants concerns. Upon review with my Capt. and other inspectors, the agreement was reached that a fire was needed. I presented the situation to Mr. Egans office. They agree that a fire was needed, but because of the trailor's pre-existance we are unable to legally requier the owner to provide the lane. The owner can provide the lane on his /her own but would be financialy responsible. For know , the best service that we can provide would be a good pre-plan inpection and area orintation. |
