Engine 20 found that someone had opened a standpipe connection valve, setting off the waterflow alarm. No fire problem. Security personnel on the scene did not have keys to the riser room or alarm room and did not have a contact number for the maintenance supervisor. They also found the standpipe connection caps missing. I spoke to the maintenance personnel (Jason Clark). I was told that Security now has the keys to the riser and alarm rooms. The fire suppression and alarm system are ooperating properly. Gave maintenance supervisor forms to order key boxes. |
