09/26/2005 | COMPL - REINSPECTION | Violation | A complaint was filed with the Tucson Fire Department in regards to using extension cords. The attached letter is your fire inspection report. The following International Fire Code Violation(s) was noted: Upon arrival it was found 2 extension cords; one used for temporary usage (approved), and one to furnish power on a semi permanent basis (not approved). The International Fire code states: 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. The cord for permanent usage was removed immediately. In addition, it was found that the building lacked an approved address. Approved address shall be paced on building. This is in violation of IFC 505.1 Address numbers shall be in accordance with Pima County address display requirements. (enclosed) |
