TFC 2003 Sec. 905.4.1 Protection for FDC ( Fire department connections } Class 1 standpiipe must be protected. Provide vehicle protection for FDC, as per Sec. 312. hand out given TFC 2003 SEC. 901.6 Inspection, testing, and maintance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed. All water based extingushment system testing and maintance is based on TFC 2003 Appendix C.
