or the closest hose connection to the enterance can be signed and the other hose connection can be seen and clearly ID as hose connections, then the remaing conection can be excluded from the sign requierment.

TFC 2003 (NFPA 14-6.3.5.2 } FDC must have a sign planly visable that reads "Standpipe"

TFC 2003 Sec. 503.3 Fire access roads will be signed as no parking and a tow-away zone
