| 02/18/2005 | INSP - REINSPECTION | Violation | On or about January 5, 2005, emergency units from the Tucson Fire Department responded to 128 S 5th Ave. Access was not immediately granted due to the non-answering of the current paging system, therefore delaying this response. A letter was given to former managers. This is in violation of TFC 506.1, which states; 506.1 Where required. Where access to or within a structure or an area is restricted because of secured openings or where immediate access is necessary for life-saving or fire-fighting purposes, the fire code official is authorized to require a key box to be installed in an approved location. The key box shall be of an approved type and shall contain keys to gain necessary access as required by the fire code official. In accordance with TFC requirements you are ordered to obtain an authorized key box, post near exit, and notify Tucson Fire Department by March 10, 2005, for code to place in box. Information is enclosed in purchasing this box. This letter is to inform you that abatement of these Tucson Fire Code violations must be completed by March 10, 2005 A re-inspection shall be conducted at that time to ensure compliance. |
