FOUND COOLER HAD BEEN REMOVED FROM THE ROOF AND A NEW HEAT PUMP INSTALLED, DUCT WORK ABOVE ROOF HAD BEEN REPLACED WITH NEW. INTERIOR OF UNIT FOUND THE FLOOR FURNACE HAD BEEN REMOVED, FLOOR FILLED IN AND TILE PATCHED. CABINET WAS RESTRUCTURED AND MICROWAVE REMOVED, SMODE DETECTOR WORKING, RECEPTICLE AND SWITCH COVERS REPLACED. KARCHERS MENTIONED REMAINING ITEMS WILL BE ABATED BUT MORE TIME NEEDED. MENTIONED STRUCTURE IS TO REMAIN UNOCCUPIED FOR AN UNDETERMINED TIME. SOUNDS AS THOUGH RESPONSIBILITY OF STRUCTURE IS BEING HERDED BACK OVER TO THE BROTHER ONCE REPAIRS ARE MADE. TIME WILL BE EXTENDED DUE TO UNIT IS UNOCCUPIED AND MUCH PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE BEYOND WHAT IS BEING ASKED. | |

HAD ALWAYS ASKED DAUGHTER OF OWNER, BILLY TO MAKE ALL THE REPAIRS NECCESARY, BUT OFTEN DEALT WITH BILLIES HUSAND LARRY WHO OFTEN REFUSED TO DEAL WITH REPAIRS.MENTIONED THAT LARRY OFTEN BECAME UPSET THAT SHE WAS CALLING IN COMPLAINTS. MYRA MENTIONED THAT SHE BECAME AFRAID IF SOMETHING WENT WRONG, BECAUSE SHE FELT GUILTY IF A COMPLAINT HAD TO BE CALLED IN. MYRA ALSO MENTIONED THAT HER BIGGEST CONCERN WAS THE COOLER AND THE FACT THAT AIR FROM THE DUCT WORK LEFT A BLACK RESIDUE AROUND THE SUPPLY GRILLES. MYRA MENTIONED THAT HER SON HAS BEEN TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM WITH A BAD CONSTANT COUGH AND HAS BEEN NAUSEATED, AND DOCTORS HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAS BEEN CAUSING THE COUGHING AND NAUSEA. I EXPLAINED TO MYRA THAT I WOULD BE CONDUCTING A THOROUGH INSPECTION, HOW IT AND THE NOV WORKED, MY FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS: >ELECTRICAL BATHROOM RECEPTICLE ON NORTH WALL SHOWS OPEN GROUND. >RECEPTICLE IN SOUTHWEST BEDROOM, WEST WALL LACKS RECEPTICLE COVER. >SOUTH EAST BEDROOM RECEPTICLE, LIGHT SWITCH COVER IS BROKEN. >ONLY PART OF KITCHEN LIGHT IS WORKING AT THIS TIME. >FRONT CARPORT LIGHT HAS BEEN ADDED. WIRING TO LIGHT HAS BEEN RUN FROM FRONT PORCH LIGHT, WIRING LEFT EXPOSED. >REAR PORCH LIGHT SWITCH NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED, MUST BE IN WEATHER PROOF BOX. >EXTERIOR SERVICE PANEL AS BEEN DOUBLE AND TRIPLE LUGGED. APPPEARS PANEL HAS BEEN ADDED TO. PERMITS WILL BE REQUIRED AS WELL AS A SERVICE UPGRADE. INTERIOR FEATURES: >WINDOWS THROUGHOUT THE STRUCTURE LACK WINDOW CRANKS, HAVE CRANKS THAT DO NOT OPERATE PROPERLY, AND HAVE WINDOW LOCKS THAT DO NOT OPERATE PROPERLY OR DO NOT OPERATE AT ALL. >KITCHEN CABINETS HAVE BEEN MODIFIED FOR THE MICROWAVE, LEAVING BOTTOM SHELF OUT WHICH IS NEEDED TO HELP PROPERLY SUPPORT THE MICROWAVE. >KITCHEN CABINET DOORS ARE DIFFICULT TO OPEN AND CLOSE DUE TO SWELLING AND BEING PAINTED TOO MANY TIMES. >KITCHEN POCKET DOOR NOT WORKING AS INTENDED,COULD NOT PULL DOOR OUT OF FRAME. PLUMBING: >FLOOR HEATER IN HALLWAY IS NO LONGER WORKING, WAS TAGGED BY SOUTHWEST GAS AS NOT SERVICABLE. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT: >BATH FAN NOT WORKING PROPERLY, WHEN TURNED ON A LOUD RUMBLING OCCURS. >WIRING FOR MICROWAVE IMPROPER. CORD HAS BEEN SPLICED. >COOLER NOT WORKING PROPERLY.AIR FLOW NOT APPROPRIATE,NORTH SIDE OF COOLER HAS BEEN COVERED WITH PLASTIC. WORK WITHOUT PERMITS: >APPEARS LIGHTS IN LIVINGROOM HAVE BEEN ADDED. >APPEARS REAR PORCH HAS BEEN ADDED, WORK WITHOUT PERMITS. |
