UPON ARRIVING I SPOKE TO TEO TENANTS INSIDE THE COMPLEX, ASKED WHERE UNIT 14 WAS AND IF THEY KNEW WHO AND WHERE THE MANAGER WAS. TENANT INFORMED ME THAT THE SAME MANAGERS FOR OLIVE TREE APTS. ALSO MANAGED THE LAS CASITAS APTS ON 29TH ST. JUST SOUTH OF THIS COMPLEX.WALKED THE COMPLEX FOUND 3 UNITS VACANT AND UNSECURED. UNIT 14 THE DOOR WAS OPEN WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF TRASH AND DEBRIS INSIDE, EVICTION NOTICE WAS ON THE WINDOW, DATED APPROX 4/27/05. OTHER 2 UNITS WERE UNSECURED, BROKEN WINDOWS, BUT ALSO LOOKED AS IF THEY HAD BEEN CLEANED.UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, KNOCKING ON DOORS AND CHECKING WINDOWS, FOUND OTHER UNITS TO BE VACATED. SOME WINDOWS COULD BE PUSHED OPEN AND SOME DOORS WERE UNLOCKED.CALLED LAS CASITAS APTS., TALKED WITH BEATRICE, MANAGER, (IN TRAINING), SHE MENTIONED THAT THEY DID TAKE CARE OF MAINTANENCE FOR OLIVE TREE APTS. TOLD ME WHERE LAS CASITAS WAS LOCATED . PRIOR TO LEAVING OLIVE TREE ICHECKED TO MAKE SURE HOW MANY UNITS WERE VACANT OR UNSECURED. UNITS 14,15, 20 ,19,17, 7,&3 WERE UNSECURED. DROVE TO LAS CASITAS, SPOKE WITH BEATRICE IN PERSON AT WHICH TIME INFORMED ME THAT OWNERS OF LAS CASITAS RECENTLY PURCHASED THE OLIVE TREE AND WERE IN THE PROCESS OF RELOCATING REMAINING TENANTS IN ORDER TO BEGIN RE-HABING COMPLEX. MENTIONED THAT PRISM PROPERTY MANAGEMENT HAD TWO OTHER COMPLEXES IN AREA TO RELOCATE TENANTS, AVALON TERRACE AND LAS CASITAS. AMY LONGWILL WITH PRISM PROPERTY MANAGEMENT LOCATED REGIONAL MANGER MIKE, AND SET UP A MEETING BACK AT OLIVE TREE. MET MAINTANENCE PERSON TIM SHOWED HIM WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO SECURE THE UNITS. MET WITH MIKE, EXPLAIN I WOULD BE ISSUING A 24 HR NOV TO SECURE THE UNITS, MIKE SAID HE UNDERSTOOD. MENTIONED HE WOULD NOW BE ON OWNER TO HURRY THE RELOCATION PROCESS AND AS TENANTS LEFT WOULD BE SURE UNITS WERE SECURED. WROTE VACANT AND UNSECURED NOV ON SITE. WILL FOLLOW UP TO MAKE SURE UNITS ARE SECURED. MIKE DID ALSO MENTION THAT OWNERS DID HAVE A SOMEWHAT WEAK PLAN TO BEGIN THE RE-HAB PROCESS BEGINNING IST PART OF JUNE BUT THAT THEY WERE BEHIND ON THE RELOCATION PROCESS.
