11/01/2006 FOLLOW UP CODE VIOLATION Continued Compliance hearing today. Mr. Jansen called for his final inspections and an Inspector did not arrive. A search of the records confirmed that. Mr. Jansen stated that he would call again today and the inspections should happen tomorrow, 11-02-06. A final review hearing is set for 11-15-06 at wich point the case will be closed or forwarded to the City Prosecutor for criminal action. Follow up 11-06-06.
08/03/2006 FOLLOW UP CODE VIOLATION Continued 07-31-06. Mr. Jansen's permit expired 07-26-06. He has since renewed it and it is active until 10-21-06. Mr. Jansen stated that he has purchased all the materials he needs and was waiting on TEPCO to make a decision affecting his electrical service. He states that he will need approximately one more month to bring the case to closure. Judge Kagen granted Mr. Jansen until the 25th of September at which time if Mr. Jansen is not in compliance his case will be referred to the prosecutor for failure to abate.
04/13/2006 FOLLOW UP CODE VIOLATION Continued Compliance hearing at 09:00 w/ Judge Kagen. Mr. Jansen and Inspector Cox present. Inspector Cox informed the court that no apparent progress had been made since 01/27/2006. Mr. Jansen responded by saying that he was attempting to comply with Tucson Electric Power by providing U/G access for his electric service. Mr. Jansen cited his status of being unemployed as a reason for the lack of progress. He stated however that he would be starting a new job next week, 04-17-06 and would be able to begin moving forward again. Judge Kagen expressed his concern of this case taking an inordinate amount of time and set a deadline of 90 days for the completion of the work. Judge Kagen further stated if the work was not complete and the permit finaled in those 90 days, he would impose a $2500.00 fine and send the case to the City Prosecutor for criminal action. Next court date set for 05-24-2006 @ 14:30 hours.
