1. Shall repair junction/outlet box on building located outside southeast corner (by 5th street). Need to make sure box is watertight.
07/01/2004 VIOL - BUILDING SVCS & SYSTEMS Violation TFC 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances.
TFC 605.5.3 Maintenance. Extension cords shall be maintained in good condition without splices, deterioration or damage.

1. In hallways you use sound machines, cords going under doors are clear from damage, but need to keep a close watch on cords. During inspection we found chairs, bookshelves and desk on top of cords, this can damage cords and cause electrical shorts and possible fires.
2. In rooms 117, 131, 214 bookshelves are pushing against extension cords crushing the plug into the outlet. This can damage the cord and the outlet and cause an electrical short or fire, need to keep bookshelves and desks from pushing on cord plugs.
