* REVIEWED TWO UNABATED ISSUES WITH INSP-2 CONCERING UNIT 2924/ ITEM #11 GAS SERVICE, AND ITEM #5 EXTERIOR WEATHER STRIPPING. EXPLAINED TO INSP-2 THAT THE OWNER HAD THE GAS METER INSTALLED AT THE UNIT. BUT BECAUSE THE TENANT HAS AN OUTSTANDING BILL WITH THE GAS COMPANY, HE DOES NOT WANT TO HAVE THE GAS TURNED ON. HEAT IS SUPPLIED BY ELECTRIC BASEBOARD HEATER, TENANT COOKS WITH MICROWAVE, AND TENANT SHARES HOTWATER HEATER WITH UNIT 2926. BECAUSE ALL UTILIES ARE AVAILABLE DNR WILL CONSIDER OUR ISSUE ABATED. OWNER HAS ALSO SUPPLIED TENANT WITH WEATHER STRIPPING AND DOOR SWEEP. WE SAW THAT THE DOOR SWEEP HAD BEEN INSTALLED, AND THE OWNER MENTIONED THAT TENANT HAD NOT FINISHED THE JOB YET, BUT WOULD MAKE A RETURN PHONE CALL WHEN JOB WAS COMPLETE. BECAUSE OWNER HAS ABATED 49 OF 51 ISSUES, PLUS THE GAS METER INSTALLED(50TH ABATED ISSUE), DNR WILL CONSIDER 51ST ISSUE WEATHER STRIPPING ABATED, IN GOOD FAITH, AND AWAIT CALL FROM OWNER ON ISSUE.
