VISITED SITE ON FOLLOW UP INSPECTION. PRESENT WERE PIMA COUNTY HEALTH INSPECTOR, OWNER & OWNER FRIEND MR FINERETY. OWNER ALLOWED ENTRY INTO STRUCTURE.
WALKED INTERIOR OF STRUCTURE WITH PIMA CO. INSPECTOR. INSPECTOR STATED INFESTATION WAS THE WORST ONE SHE HAS SEEN IN LAST 6 YEARS. ESTAMATED POPULATION MAY BE AROUND 30 RODENTS. LAGRE AMOUNTS OF DROPPING FOUND IN LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN AREA. DUE TO LARGE AMOUNT OF STACKED PAPER GOODS & EMTY CARDBOARD BOXS THOUGH STRUCTURE HAS CREATES PRIM BREADING GROUNDS FOR THE RODENTS. DUE TO ACCESSMENT BY PIMA CO. HEALTH DEPT. ON SITE INSPECTOR DECIDED TO CLOSE STRUCTURE.

SPOKE WITH JUDY KIDNEY & INFORMED HER DNR INSPECTOR WAS WORKING WITH APS, INFROMED JUDY OF EXISTING LIVING CONDITION & ACCESSMENT BY HEALTH DEPT. DNR INSPECTOR ASKED IF PLACEMENT WOULD BE POSSABLE, JUDY REPLIED DUE TO APS BEING LEAD ON CASE THEY ARE RESPONCEBLE FOR PLACEMENT OF OWNER AND TO TRY THEM FIRST.

KAREN WAS OUT OF TOWN & IN TRAINING. SPOKE WITH HER SUPERVISOR (SHERON), SHE STATED OWNER WOULD HAVE TO HAVE CHEST X-RAYS & BE SEEN BY A DOCTOR BEFORE PLACING OWNER ANYWHERE.
SPOKE WITH OWNER FRIEND & ASKED IF THEIR CHURCH COULD PUT UP OWNER TILL CLEANING CONTRACTOR SCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEEK WAS DONE WITH SANATIZING INTERIOR OF STRUCTURE. MR. FINERETY REPLYED THERE CHURCH WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE THOSE KIND OF ACCOMADATION.
AFTER FURTHER CONVERSATION WITH HEALTH INSP. & OWNER SHOWING NO SIGNS OF HUNTA VIRUS & HAVING NO RESOURCES TO PLACE OWNER. DECISION WAS MADE TO ALLOW OWNER TO STAY ANOTHER 5 DAYS IN STRUCTURE. IF NO PROGRESS ON ABATEMENT OF RODENTS WAS COMPLETED STRUCTURE WOULD BE POSTED UNFIT TO OCCUPY.
DNR INSPECTOR ISSUED NOV & ALLOWED 5 DAYS FOR ABATEMENT OF VIOLATION. WILL DO FOLLOW UP IN 5 DAYS.
RECEVIED CALL FROM MR. FINERETY.
ORIGENAL CLEAN UP CONTRACTOR HAS TURN DOWN JOB. WILL BE MEETING WITH ANOTHER CONTRACTOR LATER TO DAY. INFORMED MR. FINERETY TO MAKE SURE CONTRACTOR IS LICSENCED FOR ABATEMENT OF RODENTS. MR. FINERETY STATED COOLER REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED & IS NOW OPPERATIONAL. MR. FINERETY HE WILL CONTACT DNR INSPECTOR WITH PROGRESS REPORT ON MONDAY 5/17/04.
