CHECKED THOUGH WINDOWS, APPEARS NEW FLOORING (CERAMIC TILE) HAS BEEN INSTALLED RECENTLY. FOUND 2 WINDOWS OPEN ON NORTHSIDE AT SW.STRUCTURE.

SPOKE WITH TENANT ASKED IF HE HAD HAD ANY PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS IN HIS UNIT, TENANT REPLYED NO. ASKED IF SMOKE ALARM HAS BEEN INSTALLED & WORKING. TENANT REPLIED YES TO BOTH QUESTIONS. PORCH AWNING IS IN A HAZARDOUS CONDITION, FRONT SUPPORT RAILS HAVE BEEN DAMAGED & ARE BUCKLING, 3 ARE OUT OF PLUMB MORE THAN 3 INCHES. ONE END OF AWNING IS BEING SUPPORTED BY USE OF APPROX. 8 FOOT BY 2 X 6 ON TOP OF 3 FOOT SECTION OF TREE TRUNK. 2 X 6 IS HELD IN PLACE BY NAILS. PORCH AWNING APPROX. 10 FOOT BY 20 FEET & APPEARS TO BE ATTACHED TO MAIN STRUCTURE. WILL ISSUE NOV FOR HAZARDOUS STRUCTURE & VACANT & UNSECURED STRUCTURE. NO PICTURES TAKEN.FAULTY CANERA HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED. NOV WAS HAND DELIVERED & SIGNED BY TENANT.
MADE CONTACT WITH OWNER, INFORMED HIM OF VIOLATIONS OF VACANT, UNSECURED & HAZARDOUS PORCH STRUCTURE & 30 DAYS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR ABATEMENT. OWNER STATED HE WILL GET STARTED RIGHT AWAY. INFROMED OWNER PORCH AWNING MUST HAVE PERMITS ISSUED & INSPECTIONS DONE BY DSD & OR REMOVE HAZARDOUS STRUCTURE. WILL DO FOLLOW UP IN 30 DAYS.
