03/08/2004 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Correction Required 3/5/04, VISITED SITE, FOUND NOTE ON MANAGER'S DOOR STATING FOR EMERGENCY CALL 795-3100 CALLED THAT NUMBER TALKED WITH TOM MERRITT, WHO STATED THAT OWNER'S LEFT FOR CALIFORNIA THE NIGHT BEFORE AND HAD CALLED HIM TO TAKE OVER AND MANAGE THE PROPERTY, HE RECIEVED KEYS TO PROPERTY ONLY ABOUT 1-1/2 HOURS BEFORE I CALL HIM, I ASKED IF HE KNEW ABOUT HAVING NO HOT WATER AND HE STATED YES HE HEARD OF IT YESTERDAY BUT WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT IT HAD BEEN REPAIRED, AS I EXPLAINED THAT IT HAS NOT HE STATED HE WOULD GET SOME ONE OUT TO REPAIR, TOM DID CALL ME BACK A SHORT TIME LATER AND STATED THAT HE COULD NOT GET AHOLD OF THIS PERSON SO HE IN TURN CALL SAGUARO ELECTRIC OUT, WILL BE ON SITE IN ABOUT 45 MINUTES. I WAS CALL OFF SITE, I CALLED TOM BACK AND HAD HIM CALL ME WHEN HAS BEEN REPAIRED. TOM CALLED ME APPOX. 6 PM. HOT WATER HAS BEEN RESTORED ON A TEMPORARY BASIS UNTIL MONDAY WHEN ELECTRIC COULD COME BACK AND REPAIR WIRING PROPERLY. WILL DO FOLLOW UP ON MONDAY OR TUESDAY, ALSO DO OTHER UNITS THAT MADE COMPLAINTS.
