ALL INFORMED ME THAT TEMPORARY BYPASS OF HOTWATER LOOP WAS NECESSARY DUE TO HARD FREEZE HAS BROKEN LOOSE SECTION OF ALKALINE BUILD UP IN EXISTING PIPES. CONTRACTOR RICK PELLER FROM KODIAK MECH. SYSTEM WALKED INSP. THROUGH SITE. ALTERATION TO 3" LINE HAVE BEEN BY PASSED AND OPENING IN GROUND HAVE BEEN CORDED OFF. ASK IF WORK WAS UNDER PERMIT AND INSPECTION DONE BY DSD PLUMBING INSPECTOR. MANAGER AND CONTRACTOR WILL INFORM OWNER AND CONTRACT WILL START PROCESS. ALKALINE IN SYSTEM HAS BLOCKED OFF WATER SUPPLY TO SOME UNITS. AFFECTED WERE SHOWER HEADS, AREATORS FOR KITCHEN AND BATHROOM SINKS AND TOILETS. NANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISOR STATED THAT TECH HAVE ALREADY ADDRESSED THE CLOGGING PROBLEMS WITH WATER SYSTEMS IN UNITS. INFORMED MANAGER INSP WILL BE CONTACTING ALL UNITS LISTED ON COMPLAINT FORM TO VERIFY HOT WATER HAS BEEN RESTORED. WALK THROUGH INSP OF UNIT 104, 106, 203, 206, 211, 212, 419, 511, 609, 712, 714, 716, 803, 811, 814 WERE DONE AND ALL DID HAVE HOTWATER, PRESSURE WAS SOME WHAT LOW. UNIT 509, 515, 618 & 709 WERE NOT AT HOME AND CARD WITH CONTACT NUMBER WAS LEFT ALL UNITS ENTERED WERE CHECKED FOR MIN HOUSING ISSUES NONE WERE FOUND, ALL SMOKE DETECTORS WERE CHECKED AND FOUND WORKING. ALL UNITS CONTACTED DID STATE THAT COMPLEX MANAGER HAD MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR TENANT HAVING PROBLEMS WITH HOTWATER TO TAKE SHOWERS AND OR BATHS AT OTHER UNITS WERE NO PROBLEMS EXISTED. ASKED TENANT IF MANAGEMENT WERE POSTING UNITS WHEN HOT WATER WAS EXPECTED TO BE SHUT DOWN AND IF DURATION TIME WAS LISTED, SOME REPLIED YES AND OTHERS REPLIED NO. EXPLAINED TO ALL, CONTRACTOR IS MAKING ATTEMPTS TO CORRECT PROBLEMS AND MANAGEMENT ALSO. DID WALK THROUGH SITE. DID FIND SEVERAL MINOR ELECTRICAL VIOLATION AND FOUND SOME POOL VIOLATIONS AS WELL. SEVERAL POOL FENCING SECTIONS WERE FOUND TO HAVE OPENING LARGER THAN 4" SEVERAL WROUGHT IRON TUBING HAVE BEEN DAMAGED AND BENT. LIST OF ELECTRICAL VIOLATION ARE ATTACHED TO THIS REPORT. WILL ISSUE NOV FOR POOL AND ELECTRICAL VIOLATION. PICTURES WERE TAKEN.

5. COVER MISSING FROM FITTING, EXPOSE ELECTRICAL COMING UP FROM UNDER GROUND AT BUILDING #6 SW. CORNER.
