05/20/2011 STORMWATER FOLLOW-UP INSP Approved THE STORMWATER CONTROLS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THE AREAS EXCEPT FOR AROUND THE DETENTION/RETENTION BASIN WHICH WILL BE REMOVED ONCE THE SITE IS COMPLETED BY THE DEVELOPER. ALL OF THE REMAINING WORK HAS BEEN BONDED AND WILL BE RE-INSPECTED UNDER THE SUBDIVISION #S04-102.
12/17/2010 STORMWATER FOLLOW-UP INSP Continued MINOR CONCERNS AT THIS TIME ARE THE AREAS OF MINOR STANDING WATER IN THE SOUTH NUOS AREA DUE TO A CLOGGED DRAIN PIPE UNDERNEATH THE DECOMPOSED PATH AND SEDIMENT NOTED IN THE BASIN LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THIS SITE AND ADJACENT TO THE DRAINAGE INLET STRUCTURE FROM THE ROADWAY. THIS MATERIAL NEEDS TO BE REMOVED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO ENSURE POSITIVE DRAINAGE IS CONTINUALLY MAINTAINED. THIS BASIN WILL BE CHECKED DURING THE NEXT 1/2 INCH RAIN EVENT TO SEE IF IT IS DRAINING CORRECTLY PER OUR CURRENT STANDARDS. IF IT IS TAKING LONGER THAN 12 HOUR TO DRAIN FREELY YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SEEK AN INSPECTION AND RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE ENGINEER OF RECORD ON HOW TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM.
10/06/2010 STORMWATER FOLLOW-UP INSP Continued MINOR CONCERNS AT THIS TIME. 1) MINOR STANDING WATER HAS BEEN NOTED IN THE SOUTHERN NUOS OF THE PROJECT. IT APPEARS THAT THE DRAIN PIPES THAT ALLOW THE TRAPPED FLOWS TO RUN TOWARDS THE WESTERN DRAINAGE WAY HAVE BEEN CLOGGED AND NEED TO BE CLEANED OUT. 2) SEDIMENT HAS BEEN NOTED ON THE ROADWAYS BOTH COMING IN THROUGH THE WALL OPENINGS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE PROJECT, AND FROM THE UNDEVELOPED LOTS. THIS SEDIMENT WILL INFILTRATE THE BASIN AREA AND CAUSE PONDING ISSUES THAT WILL AFFECT THE RELEASE OF THE GRADING PERMIT FOR THIS SITE.
