Date: 03/06/2009 1:31 PM Subject: Sycamore Park Village 3 T04BU02320 S04-078 All, I am sending out this email to see if we can get together to accomplish a couple of things at once. I have spoken with Curtis Lostutter with Meritage Homes. He is wanting to vacate the reseeding bond for Village 3 as well as getting the bond for sidewalks back. Since there really is no process in place, that I am aware of, to do this without closing out the grading permit I suggested we do a final grading and close out the subdivision. This would allow Meritage to close out the NOI and we would have this subdivision in the "Finaled" status. There are two items on the grading punchlist that have become somewhat problematic in accomplishing this goal. First, basin and common area certification letters from the EOR are needed. Second, there is a standing water concern in the drainage way between lots 12 and 13 that needs to be addressed. The reason these two items are problematic is Meritage did not do the grading work. As I recall, the work was done by Borderland, contracted by Diamond Ventures. My ultimate goal is to try to get this resolved so any organizational changes here or elsewhere do not leave this project hanging in limbo. I believe Curtis' goal is to sell some houses. If there are other portions of Sycamore Park that can be closed out I would like to take this opportunity to get that ball rolling as well. How can we make this happen?
