11/10/2003 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Correction Required AT SITE I DID ONLY AN OUTSIDE INSPECTION ON ALL THE PROPERTY. NO INSIDE INSPECTIONS MADE. AT TIME OF VISIT NO ONE WAS HOME AT UNIT #122. I WENT FIRST TO THE GAS METER TO SEE IF IT WAS OFF, AFTER REIEWING GAS METER I FOUND THAT SOUTHWEST GAS HAS METER LOCKED OUT. (SEE PHOTOS). I ALSO FOUND YELLOW/RED TAG ON THE METER STATING THAT THERE IS A HAZARD AT GAS LINES AND GAS WILL NOT BE TURNED ON AT THIS TIME. S.W.G FILE/CASE #559111 TOLL FREE # TO CALL WITH QUESTIONS IS 1-800-654-2765. AFTER REVIEWING OUTSIDE OF UNIT 122 I ALSO FOUND THAT THE HOTWATER FLUE PIPE (IE) 45 DEGREES AND IMPROPER SEAL TAPE AND CONNECTION TO HOT WATER HEATER TOP. I ALSO FOUND ROTTEN WOOD ROOF TRIM ON WEST SIDE OF UNIT. AFTER WALKING THE OTHER UNITS, I FOUND THAT THEY ALL HAVE IMPROPER FLUE PIPES TO HOTWATER HEATER AND MINOR ROTTED WOOD TRIM. UNIT #118 WAS FOUND ALSO TO HAVE IMPROPER STORAGE ON THE SOUTH SIDE, (IE) PAINT THINNER, WOOD, PHOTOS TAKEN AT SITE. NOTICE TO FOLLOW.
