I WENT TO UNIT 244 MET TENANTS, SON IS IN SCHOOL AT THIS TIME, I REVIEWED UNIT, THE INSIDE OF UNIT SEEMS NORMAL IN A SENSE, NO TRASH OR DEBRIS, DISHES ARE DONE, AND UNIT IN GENERAL IS WELL KEPT. I DID ASK HOW THEY COOKED, THEY STATED OUTDOORS AT APT. BBQ PITS. TENANTS ALSO KEEP ICE IN FREEZER TO STOVE COLD FOODS, AT THIS TIME THE ENTIRE UNIT REQUIRES ELECT. SERVICE TO OPERATE (IE) STOVE, HOT WATER, HEATING. THE MOTHER STATES HER SON STAYS WITH FRIENDS AT NIGHT IN NEAR BY APT. UNIT. I DID CALL (TEP) WHILE AT SITE, ELECT, HAS BEEN OFF SINCE (SEPT. 16, 2003). TENANTS STATE THEY ARE UNABLE TO RESTORE POWER DUE TO LARGE BILLS. I DID SEE TAHT TENANTS ARE USING OIL LAMP ON KITCHEN COUNTER TOP. NO OTHER ITEMS FOUND INSIDE FOR LIGHT SOURCE. I DID CALL JUDY FROM COPE TO HELP WITH PLACEMENT, TENANTS ARE REQUIRED TP REPORT TO TRAVELER'S AIDE WITHIN THE HOUR. UNIT 144 DOES HAVE THE REQUIRED ELECT. SERVICE AND NO CORDS WERE FOUND AT SITE, MANAGER HAD TENANTS REMOVE CORD APPROX. (2) WEEKS AGO, NOTICE TO VACATE WAS GIVEN TO TENANTS AT SITE INCLUDING MANAGER OF UNITS. ZERO DAYS TO VACATE UNIT DUE TO LACK OF REQUIRED ELECT. SERVICE WITHIN 300 FEET. SECTION 16-11C-1 AND 16-14C. PHOTOS TAKEN AT STIE, TENANTS ARE REPORTING NOW. NOTICE GIVEN AT SITE. |
