ROOF REPAIRED A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, WEEK AGO REPAIRS WERE DONE TO VENT SYSTEM UNDER SINK. 1. PRESSURE RELIFE MUST BE EXTENDED 2. HAZARDOUS ELECTRICAL IN STORAGE ROOM UNPROTECTED ROMEX AND RECEPTICLE LACKING COVER PLATE EXTERIOR GAS LINE NOT SECURED TO WALL PROPERLY VENT SYSTEM HAS BEEN ALTERED AND ADDITION OF DRAIN FOR WASHING MACHINE HAS BEEN ADDED, AS WELL AS 8' X 12' LAUNDRY ROOM STORAGE. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM HAS BEEN UPGRADED G.F.I.C. IS REQUIRED IN KITCHEN. ROOF LEAKING THOUGH CEILING EVIDENCED BY DRY WALL TAPE AND TEXTURE COMING AWAY FROM CEILING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECKED OUT GOOD AND DID SMOKE DETECTOR. WILL DO RESEARCH AND ISSUE NOTICE WHEN COMPLETED. AND THIS TIME NO SEWER GAS SMELL COULD BE DETECTED. TENANT STATES SMELL GOES AWAY AFTER 9:00 AM. APPROX. PICTURES WERE TAKEN. 9/29/03 DO FOLLOW UP IN 30 DAYS. AMENDMENT TO NOTES DATED 10/01/03: TENANT CONTACTED CECI CRUZ AND REQUESTED FILED COMPLAINT TO INCLUDE MOLD PROBLEM. INSPECTION DONE ON 9-29-03 OF EXTERIOR & INTERIOR FOUND NO MOLD PROBLENS IN KITCHEN SINK AREA, BATHROOM AREA, LAUNDRY ROOM AREA & OPENED WALL SECTION ON EAST WALLWHERE ALTERATIONS WERE DONE TO SEWER VENT SYSTEM. USED FLASH LIGHT TO CHECK FOR DAMP AREAS UNDER SEWER VENT PIPE SYSTEM THAT EXTENDS UNDER KITCHEN FLOOR. 8 FOOT SECTION THAT WAS VISABLE SHOWED NO SIGNS OF DAMP AREAS. |
