| 12/03/2007 | GRADING - FINAL | Approved | THE SITE WAS CHECKED AFTER THE WEEKEND RAINS, THE BASINS STILL HOLD WATER PAST THE 24 HOUR PERIOD. THE DEVELOPER HAS BEEN CONTACTED AND WILL ENSURE THAT THE BASINS ARE PROPERLY DRAINING PRIOR TO LEAVING THE SITE FULLY. I WILL MEET WITH THE DEVELOPER ON SITE ON 12/6/2007 TO DISCUSS WHAT IS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE SITE. | |
| 10/30/2007 | GRADING - FINAL | Approved | THE DEVELOPER IS WORKING ON COMPLETING THE DRAINAGE ITEMS FOR THIS SITE. CURRENTLY THEY ARE WORKING ON THE BASINS ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF THE PROPERTY AND WILL BE MOVING OVER TO THE CENTAL WATER HARVESTING AREAS LATER TODAY. CREWS ARE WORKING TO REMOVE ALL SIGNS OF SEDIMENT FROM THE BASINS, THIS MATERIAL IS BEING REMOVED FROM THE SITE. A SET OF AS-BUILT DRAWINGS WILL BE SUPPLIED BY THE DEVELOPER FOR ALL OF THE MINOR CHANGES THAT HAVE BEEN MADE TO THIS SITE SINCE IT WAS STARTED. | |
| 07/12/2007 | GRADING - FINAL | Correction Required | THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NEED TO BE CHECKED PRIO TO THE FINAL RELEASE OFF ALL BONDS FOR THIS PROJECT: 1) A FULL SET OF AS-BUILT DRAWINGS IS REQUIRED FOR THIS SITE TO COVER ALL CHANGES THAT HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE PROJECT. 2) BASIN CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED ON THIS SITE, AS WELL AS PHYSICAL VERIFICATION THAT ALL BASINS ARE DRAINING WITHIN THE REQUIRED TIME FRAME. HISTORICALLY THE BASINS ON THIS PROJECT HAVE NOT BEEN DRAINING WITHIN THE REQUIRED TIME RESTRAINTS AS PER THE PIMA COUNTY / CITY OF TUCSON RETENTION/DETENTION MANUAL. | |
| 08/29/2006 | GRADING - FINAL | Denied | THIS PROJECT WAS NOT CONSTRUCTED TO THE C.O.T. APPROVED GRADING PLAN. CONSTRUCT TO THE C.O.T. APPROVED GRADING PLAN OR PROVIDE A REVISED/AS-BUILT PLAN TO THE C.O.T ENGINEERING AND ZONING DIVISIONS FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL. |

| 07/15/2005 | GRADING - FINAL | Correction Required | Assurances / Drainage Punch list(partial not to be considered a final or the "Final Grading") 1. The drainage way adjacent to the east side of the private alley has not been constructed per the approved plans. It appears that the flow line of the channel has sag along the northern half of the southern half. Per the approved plans the drainage way is to maintain approximately 0.50% of fall throughout its entire length of the southern half with a water harvesting area located on the northern half.. Please provide survey documentation for this channel if you feel that this assumption is incorrect. Otherwise make the necessary changes to the drainage way to ensure that there is positive drainage from the south end to the north. 2. Grading of the private alley has not been completed as shown on the approved plans. The approved plans show that there is to be a constant 0.50% fall from the south end of the private alley to the north end. The slope of the roadway maybe may be within tolerable limits grade wise, but the problem is that the water does not flow out onto Glenn Street as shown on the plans. The water from the roadway, basin, and the channel ponds at the southeast corner of Glenn Street and the private alley in the area of the weir outlet. Per the approved plans it appears that from the flow line of the weir outlet and drainage way to the southern edge of Glenn Street should be level. 3. Basin #20 and adjacent drainage way along the southern boundary of the project have been roughly completed at this time. The final grades for the above noted areas need to be finalized, as well as placement of all remaining rock rip rap, plus the installation of all (straw bales, silt fence, waddle. ie) storm water pollution prevention bmp's. Silts from the roadways and the adjacent slope cuts are entering into the drainage way and basin and may cause the basin percolation rates to be reduced below the acceptable level. 4. All internal basins and drainage swales on this site have been roughly completed per the approved plans, these all need to be completed fully before the final release of the assurances for the site. 5. A drainage swale has been deleted north of the following lots 1-3, 19-22, 44-47, and 68-70. This will need to be installed to prevent water from passing directly out onto Glenn Street across the public sidewalk. If these areas are to remain as they have been constructed you will need to provide a newer version of the "As-built Drawings" with the approval stamps from the Engineering Department allowing for this modification. 6. Stockpiles of material have been place within the roadway prism and are being distributed into the drainage ways with each and every rain. These piles either need to removed from the project, or placed in a manner that will prevent future erosion. 7. Private barriers have been placed in areas where construction work is still being completed. The home owners are asking that the maintenance for these areas are scheduled on a more frequent basis, or that they are installed in a safer manner. Complete all of the drainage ways and basins on this site as specified in the approved plans or provide documentation from engineering that the changes have been accepted. If you have any questions please feel free to contact David Roberts at 349-7643 and arrange for an on-site meeting to discuss the questionable items. Please schedule a Final Grading Inspection for this site to receive a final grading punch list. A Basin Certification Letter is to be provided on this site for all basins as well as "As-Built Drawings" for all approved changes. |
