TPD EMERG CALL OUT (0208140533) FROM OFFICER BENZI AND SGT SMITH RE SUB STD LIVING CONDITIONS. INSPECTION FOUND A SINGLE FAMILY RENTAL UNIT OCCUPIED BY A SON WHO LIVES IN THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE AND HIS 75YR OLD MOTHER WHO LIVES IN THE REAR HALF OF THE HOUSE. THEY HAVE DIVIDED THE HOUSE BY BLOCKING DOORS ON THE INTERIOR AND SHARE THE BATHROOM AND KITCHEN.

REAR HALF OF HOUSE: INSPECTION FOUND THE INTEROR FILLED WITH DEBRIS FROM THE MOM, THE BEDROOM WINDOW WAS PAINTED SHUT(HAD MOM ATTEMPT TO OPEN WINDOW BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO), IF OCCUPANT DID MANAGE TO EXIT STRUCTURE INTO THE YARD AREA, THEN THE FRONT, REAR AND SIDE YARDS WERE ALSO FILLED WITH DEBRIS. REAR OCCUPANT DID NOT HAVE ABILITY TO ESCAPE SMOKE AND FIRE FILLED AREAS. OCCUPANT ALSO HAD MANY CATS (ANIMAL CONTROL ON SITE) WITH FECIS INSIDE AND IN YARD AREA. HEAVY ROACH INFESTATION TO POINT OF LARGE QUANTITIES OF ROACHES FALLING FROM CIELING WHILE CONDUCTING INSPECTION. THE CIELING IN KITCHEN WAS COMING DOWN DUE TO A LARGE LEAK ON THE ROOF AND OCCUPANTS HAD PLASTIC TARP COVERING EXTERIOR ROOF.

FRONT AREA : WHERE SON LIVED WAS ALSO FILLED WITH DEBRIS AND LACKED PROPER BATHROOM AND KITCHEN DUE TO ARRANGEMENT OF HOUSE.

DNR DEEMED UNIT UNFIT TO OCCUPY UNTIL DEBRIS FROM THE INTERIOR IS REMOVED AND A MIN-HOUSING INSPECTION COULD BE PROPERLY CONDUCTED. MOTHER STAYING WITH HER DAUGHTER AND THE SON STAYING WITH FRIENDS. HE WORKING WITH OWNERS TO CLEAN INTERIOR. DNR HAS CONTACTED TFD(GLENN) AND SWM (MARTIN) TO INSPECT SO AS TO ISSUE MULTI DEPT, SABER N & O ON FRIDAY. THEY TO INSPECT ON THURSDAY.

OWNER IS DECEASED AND NOW TAKEN OVER BY CHILDREN WHO WERE ON SITE. KELLY LANGFORD (349-9715), RICHARD LANGFORD (CELL-349-3659, HM-798-0879 @ 111 E. ADAMS, TUC, AZ.). THEY APPEAR VERY COOPERATIVE WITH CITY.
