The Private Improvement Agreement (PIA) requires the owner/ developer to pay any applicable fees for onsite roadway surface treatment (at a minimum fog coat). An offsite roadway surface treatment may be required depending on field conditions. Please submit fog coat fees of $3161.20. The fees shall be paid to the City of Tucson, Department of Transportation ( DOT). The City of Tucson Engineering Division will issue a Letter of Acceptance after receiving the applicable surface treatment fees. Please contact Traffic Engineering for any outstanding obligations pertaining to traffic signage and striping. |

THE CORRECT STREET NAME SIGNS THAT NEED TO BE INSTALLED ABOVE THE EXISTING STOP SIGN POST SSHOULD BE SAHUARA PLACE (2600N) AND SAHUARA AVENUE (2600N). 2) THE "25 MPH" SPEED LIMIT SIGN AND THE "NO OUTLET" SIGN ARE THE WRONG SIZE AND NEED TO BE REPLACED FOR THE EASTBOUND TRAFFIC ON SAHUARA PLACE AT SAHUARA AVENUE. THE NEW "25 MPH" SIGN (R2-1/18" X 24") SHOULD BE INSTALLED ON THE SECOND POST EAST OF SAHUARA AVENUE. THE NEW "NO OUTLET" SIGN (W14-2/24" X 24") SHOULD BE INSTALLED ON THE FIRST POST EAST OF SAHUARA AVENUE. LEAVE THE EXISTING "NO PARKING FIRE ACCESS" SIGN ON THE SECOND POST, BELOW THE NEW "25 MPH" SIGN. NOTE: ALL OF THE EXISTING U-CHANNEL POSTS INSTALLED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT ARE THE WRONG SIZE. HOWEVER, WE WILL ACCEPT THEM THIS TIME AS IS. IN THE FUTURE, COORDINATE WITH TRAFFIC ENGINEERING PRIOR TO INSTALLING SIGNS/POSTS, AS PER THE PLANS. PLEASE COMPLETE THESE REQUESTS, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, SO THAT WE MAY RELEASE YOUR TRAFFIC ENGINEERING OBLIGATION AND FORWARD OUR RECOMMENDATION FOR YOUR PROJECT'S ACCEPTANCE. |
