On November 15, 2007, Traffic Engineering inspected the project that you proposed for acceptance. The following item needs to be addressed before we can forward our recommendation for your project's acceptance.
*The required signing and striping for Wilmot Road, as per plans, page 12, has not been completed. The required additional pavement has been added on both sides of Wilmot Road.
Please complete this request, as soon as possible , so that we may release your Traffic Engineering obligation and forward our recommendation for your project's acceptance. |

This office has inspected Julian Ranch, Wilmot Road improvements, shown on sheets nine and ten, and has found this portion of the project completed and in substantial conformance. The Engineer- of- Record must submit the original "As Built" Mylars showing any revisions and/ or changes to line and grade prior to acceptance by the City of Tucson for maintenance and operation.
Additionally, the Private Improvement Agreement (PIA) requires the owner/ developer to pay any applicable fees for onsite roadway surface treatment (at a minimum fog coat). An offsite roadway surface treatment may be required depending on field conditions. Please submit fog coat fees of $3,721.20 . The fees shall be paid to the City of Tucson, Department of Transportation (DOT).
A letter of acceptance from the Engineering Division will follow after the receipt of the Mylars and applicable surface treatment fees have been paid.
Please contact Traffic Engineering for any outstanding obligations pertaining to traffic signage and striping.
