THEY HAVE CUT AN OPENING INTO THE STRUCTURE AND ARE GOING TO INSTALL AN 18 INCH RCP DRAIN PIPE THROUGH THE SIDE WALL. AFTER I HAD LOOKED AT THE OPENING THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY CUT AND THE PLAN DETAILS I ADVISED THEM THAT THIS COULD NOT BE DONE AT THIS TIME. THE OPENING INTO THE STRUCTURE IS 24 INCHS ON ALL SIDES, PER THE PLANS IT NEEDS TO BE 28 INCHES IN ALL SUDES TO ALLOW FOR 3 INSHES OUTSIDE THE PIPE ON ALL SIDES. THE EXTERIOR OF THE PIPE MEASURES 22 INCHES ACROSS THE PIPE AND THEY 6 INCHES OF CLEAR SPACE FOR THE NON-SHRINKABLE GROUT THAT WILL BE PLACED TO SECURE THE PIPE WITHIN THE OPENING. THEY WILL RESCHEDULE THIS INSPECTION THE HOLE IS AT THE CORRECT DIMENSION AND THEY HAVE COMPLETED PLACING THE 16 #5 BARS IN EPOXY FILLED HOLES THAT ARE 3 INCHES DEEP.
