08/05/2020 ENGR Grading Final DROBERTS Correction Required Entered by RSALDAT1 - IS CORRECTIONS REQUIRED AT THIS TIME. THIS PERMIT HAS NOT BEEN ISSUED BUT THE WORK HAS BEEN ON GOING. I HAVE CONTACTED THE ENGINEER OF RECORD AND ASKED THAT THIS SITE BE RE-EVALUATED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: 1) THE STOCKPILE IS BEING PLACED IN AN AREA WHERE THE ROADWAY HAS BEEN DEPRESSED TO HELP CREATE A NATURAL DRAINAGE AREA, POSSIBLY TOTALLY BLOCKING THIS SURFACE DRAINAGE OF THE SURROUNDING AREAS. 2) THE DRAINAGE PIPE THAT HAS BEEN PROVIDED TO ASSIST IS AN 18 INCH DRISCOLL LINE THAT IS A FLEXIBLE RUBBER WITH A 1 INCH THICKNESS. THIS PIPE IS NORMALLY USED IN THE CHANNELIZED MOVEMENT OF AT GRADE SURFACE WATER, NOT IN A TRENCHED CONDITION. 3) MINOR AMOUNTS OF EROSION HAS BEEN NOTED DOWN STREAM FROM THE PAST RAINS, THIS WILL BE CHECKED AT A LATER DATE. 4) THE NPPO OF THIS SITE HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED BY THIS DEPARTMENT SINCE THE PERMIT HAS NOT BEEN ISSUED. VERIFICATION OF ALL PLANTS WITHIN THE STOCKPILE NEEDS TO BE DONE PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF THIS PERMIT. THIS PERMIT NEEDS TO HAVE A PRECON MEETING TO ENSURE THAT ALL OF THE REQUIREMENT ARE BEING MET. CURRENTLY THERE APPEARS TO BE ONE POSSIBLE SAGUARO CACTUS LOCATED AT THE SOUTH WEST CORNER OF THE STOCKPILE AREA THAT IS AT THE EDGE OF THE NEWLY PLACED FILL MATERIAL. THIS NEEDS TO BE VERIFIED ON THE NPPO PLAN AND EITHER PROTECTED OR TRANSPLANTED ON SITE TO PREVENT IT FROM BEING DESTROYED.
