12/21/2021 | ENGR Grading Final | Passed | {Activity date: 12/21/2021; Status: Approved; Inspector: DROBERTS; Comment: Entered by DROBERT5 - } ; {Activity date: 12/02/2021; Status: Partial Approval; Inspector: DROBERTS; Comment: Entered by DROBERT5 - MET WITH TOFEL CONSTRUCTION AND WALKED THE SITE TO SEE WHERE THEY ARE AT IN REGARDS TO A FINAL RELEASE. CURRENTLY THEY ARE STILL WORKING ON THE INSTALLATION OF BRICK PAVERS AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SITE, AND STILL HAVE SOME WORK TO PERFORM AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHT OUT THE SITE FOR TOUCH UP AND FINALS. IT WAS NOTED DURING THIS WALK THROUGH THAT THERE ARE STILL A FEW ITEMS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN ADDRESSED AT THIS TIME. 1) THE OVERFLOW ROOF DRAINS ARE PROTRUDING FROM THE BUILDING ON THE WEST AND SOUTH SIDES OF THE BUILDING OVER THE ADJACENT SIDEWALKS AS WELL AS PATIO SCUPPERS. THE HEIGHTS OF THESE ITEMS ARE 60 TO 72 INCHES ABOVE THE SIDEWALKS, THIS APPEARS TO BE A HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE. tHESE HAVE BEEN DISCUSSED OVER THE LIFE OF THE PROJECT BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. WE HAVE DISCUSSED THAT IN MOST OF THE CASES A PLANTER BOX OR POT COULD BE PLACED AT THE SAME LOCATIONS TO PREVENT ACCESS TO THE AREA WITH ONLY MINOR DISRUPTION TO THE PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC. 2) ROOF DRAINAGE PIPE ON THE SOUTHSIDE OF THE EXISTING RESTARAUNT ON THE SOUTHSIDE OF THE SITE DEPOSIT THEIR DRAINAGE WATER DIRECTLY ONTO THE ADJACENT SIDEWALKS. THIS IS ALSO A HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED PRIOR TO THE FULL RELEASE OF THE SITE. IT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED THAT THE PLACEMENT OF A CATCHBASIN IN ONE AREA ALONG WITH A DRAINAGE PIPE POINTING SOUTH COULD RESOLVE MOST OF THE ISSUES FOR THIS PROBLEM. TOFEL WILL LET ME KNOW ASAP WHAT THEY WILL TRY TO DO.} ; {Activity date: 08/27/2021; Status: Continued; Inspector: DROBERTS; Comment: Entered by RSALDAT1 - CONTINUED AT THIS TIME, SEE THE NOTES FOR THE ENGINEERING - FINAL ABOVE } ; {Activity date: 05/29/2020; Status: Partial Approval; Inspector: BBENEDON; Comment: Entered by RSALDAT1 - Partially approved.8” HDPE,Stormwater piping as shown on page 10.
