08/14/2017 PDSD Site/Engineering Division - Landscaping DROBERT5 Correction Required Entered by DROBERT5 - MET WITH ROB AND THE LANDSCAPER TO LOOK OVER THE SITE AND SEE WHAT WAS NEEDED PRIOR TO A FINAL APPROVAL OF THIS SITE. 1) DUE TO THE RECENT RAINS THE CONTRACTOR WILL NEED TO REMOVE ALL OF THE EXCESS MATERIAL FROM THE STREET AND THEN REPAIR ALL OF THE EROSION ON THE LOTS. THEY WILL BE PLACING ROCK RIP RAP IN THE AREAS WHERE THE SLOPES HAVE ERODED FROM THE RAINS. 2) ALSO THEY WILL BE PLACING ROCK AROUND THE CONCRETE SLAB ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE SITE IN THE COMMON AREA. THIS SLAB IS EAST OF THE DRAINAGE CHANNEL BETWEEN LOTS 8 AND 9 TO PREVENT DIRT FROM ENTERING INTO THE CONCRETE CHANNEL. 3) I NOTICED THAT THE DEVELOPER DID NOT PLACE THE ROCK RIP RAP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE INLET STRUCTURE IN THE BASIN TO PREVENT EROSION. HE WILL MAKE THE DEPRESSED AREA THE SAME WIDTH AS THE CONCRETE, AND THE LENGTH OF IT WILL BE 10. 4) THERE ARE SOME MISSING TREES IN THE COMMON AREA ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF THE SITE. THE EXISTING TREES AND BRUSH IN THIS AREA IS THICK SO THEY MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PLANT ANYTHING AND EXPECT IT TO GROW. ROB WILL GO DOWNTOWN AND TALK TO JOSEPH LINVILLE AND SEE IF THEY CAN ELIMINATE SOME OF THE VEGETATION OR REPLANT IT IN OTHER AREAS. 5) ALONG THE SOUTHSIDE OF THE PROJECT THE DEVELOPER NEEDS TO PLACE SOME HYDROSEED IN AREAS WHERE THE EXISTING VEGETATION HAS BEEN REMOVED. 6) THE LANDSCAPE CONTRACTOR WILL BE REPLACING ANY DAMAGED, DEAD, OR MISSING PLANTS THROUGHOUT THE SITE AS NEEDED.
07/26/2017 PDSD Site/Engineering Division - Landscaping DROBERTS Partial Approval Entered by DROBERT5 - 1) COMPLETE THE LANDSCAPING AS SHOWN ON THE APPROVED TENTATIVE PLAT, AND ENSURE THAT ALL ARE VIABLE PLANTS AT THE TIME OF THE FINAL INSPECTION. THERE APPEARS TO BE SOME TREES MISSING ADJACENT TO BONANZA STEET. 2) PROVIDE A LETTER FROM THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THE MINOR CHANGES THAT HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE BASIN VERIFYING THAT THE REQUIRED QUANTITIES HAVE NOT BEEN CHANGED. 3) COMPLETE THE CLEANUP OF THE SITE PRIOR TO YOUR OFFICE SCHEDULING THE FINAL GRADING FOR THIS SITE. PROVIDE US WITH A NOTICE OF TERMINATION FOR THE SWPPP THAT IS ACTIVE ON THIS SITE AND PROVIDE US WITH AN APPROVED SET OF REVISED DRAWINGS TO BE UTILIZED DURING THE FINAL INSPECTION OF THIS SITE.
